These pages are meant to discuss the (future) layout of the ALPS libraries and applications. This is also the place to address any questions you encounter while developing code for the ALPS project.

Code development

Outdated. See Developers for further development.

For ALPS code development you should access the most recent version via SVN (subversion). Go to ALPS 2.0:Getting Started to get started. If you have never used SVN before, try ALPS subversion for dummies for a quick introduction. Also have a look at our websvn https://alps.comp-phys.org/websvn.

The Bugzilla is now online and ready to use. You have to create an account before you can file bugs.

The ALPS_Tinderbox is disabled for the time being.

There's minimal documentation for the ALPS server

Developer workshops

The latest developer workshop took place on July 1-2 2006 in Lausanne.

Please go to the Developer Workshop pages for further details.

Developer mailing list

The most active mailing list which we currently maintain is the developers mailling list. This mailing list is our vehicle for general discussion on ALPS library conmponents and their development:

  • Developer mailing list

Future tutorials

Following a brainstorming session at a recent developer's workshop we have compiled a list of future tutorials.
